Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS

Learn advanced techniques for managing pediatric emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and shock. This course is ideal for healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and paramedics.  The AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children. The PALS Provider Course teaches participants:

To recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest

Strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children

Skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest.

 Students must be able to identify basic ECG rhythms prior to attending. 

Book Required!
All students must have a current book - AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Manual (2020 CPR & ECC Guidelines). This book is REQUIRED for the class.

Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) Required!

Student must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment (PSA) prior to class. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass. Student must print and bring Score Report and Certificate of Completion to class - $175
